For Cash App Taxes' second year, we wanted to fix one of our customers' largest pain points related to logging in on the web. 

In the previous tax season, customers had to scan a QR code with their phone to log in securely. To make this process more straightforward, we sent customers a text message with a secure link that felt more like a two-factor authentication process that customers would have seen before.
