Hi, I'm Dave. I'm a UX writer, content designer, and creator with over 15 years of experience doing what I do.
I live in the Denver area with my wife, son, and three dogs. Outside of my day job, I'm one of the most watched local YouTube Creators in Denver, and the Chief Operating Officer of My Denver Therapy, one of the largest therapy businesses in Colorado.
I've been lucky to work at some pretty cool places, including Google, Square, Rotten Tomatoes, Fox Interactive Media, The Honest Company, and Charter Communications. I'm one of a small handful of UX writers who has worked on multiple products used by over a billion people.
While almost every UX writer has contributed to individual features, I've helped teams launch and relaunch full products, including Google Play Music (now YouTube Music), Google Play Newsstand, Firebase, Spectrum Mobile, Spectrum News, My Spectrum, and Cash App Taxes.
I have written for the world's largest app store, most popular operating system, along with the United States' fastest-growing mobile provider and second-largest cable provider. I currently write for Cash App, one of the top apps in the United States.
I've worked on big products, and I've also built startups from the ground up. I'm a people-motivated person, and I've been lucky to work with a lot of really great people along the way.
At work and in life, I'm a flexible person. I've worked on media, support, commerce, operating system, finance, and account management products designed for user, developer, and enterprise audiences. I've worked on sexy products and not-so-sexy products, and I've enjoyed aspects of both because I enjoy the work itself.
I've successfully managed designers, content managers, and product teams, but I really enjoy being an individual contributor and writing stuff that's clear, concise, helpful, and maybe even a little delightful.
Most importantly, I love what I do, and I do my best to bring that attitude to work every day.
